Dear All,
Madhyavarti Multiple Campus is located in Kawasoti Municipality Ward No. 17, Gochhada, in Nawalparasi(East) District of Gandaki Province, central Nepal. It is situated in the lap of the Narayani River, near the central area of Chitwan National Park, the campus was established in 2070 B.S. with zero financial resources. Thanks to the local Amaltari Community Forest User Committee, Kawasoti Municipality Ward No. 15 and 17, and the relentless efforts of the local community, a four-room building was constructed, and classes commenced.
In the academic year 2076-077, the campus benefited from the infrastructure development fund of federal parliamentarians, and in 2077-078, Kawasoti Municipality Ward No. 17 allocated a budget for a four-story administrative building. Now, this building houses the campus administration office, account section, library, computer lab, and classrooms. Another four-roomed building is under construction from the budget of Kawasoti Municipality. Due to lack of municipal budget, the building is incomplete and unfinished with two rooms. So, we are seeking the budget to complete this building. In this fiscal year2081/082, the lab for Bachelor in Hotel Management (BHM) is going to be built with the budget of NRs. 10 million allocated by Federal Parliament. The campus has been able to operate smoothly, paying assistant professors and staff on a very modest basis, thanks to the cooperation and goodwill of the community.
Since its inception in 2070 B.S., Madhyavarti Multiple Campus has been providing quality education to students in a peaceful and pleasant environment. The campus has consistently excelled in terms of educational quality. Notably, in the academic session 2076, the campus achieved a 100% success rate in the annual examination of the fourth year, published by Tribhuvan University, becoming the first in Gandaki Province across all categories, including special categories.
The process of acquiring Quality Assurance Accreditation (QAA) from the university is ongoing, with plans to extend it by submitting the Letter of Intention (LOI). In addition to regular teaching, the campus is focused on managing resources and developing physical infrastructure with the required facilities. It is committed to providing free education to students from underprivileged communities while also ensuring a well-equipped library with sufficient books and educational reference materials.
To keep pace with modern demands, the campus is also focusing on enhancing its computer lab. With the goal of producing competent technical manpower for the national and international market, there is a proposal to introduce Hotel Management (BHM) and B.Ed. ICT classes in the near future.
